Curtis C. Jung, Esq.

Mr. Jung was admitted to the State Bar of California and to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in 1987. After graduating from law school, Mr. Jung was associated with Peterson Ross, a national law firm, practicing commercial litigation in Los Angeles in 1986-1987. Starting in 1988, Mr. Jung was affiliated with Knapp, Petersen & Clarke, and became a partner in the firm in 1992 up until 1994. At the firm, he specialized in all aspects of business, civil, insurance, construction, professional liability, products and premise liability, personal injury, bankruptcy and real estate litigation. He has represented Fortune 500 corporations, insurance carriers and self-insured companies in major complex litigation matters, and has successfully tried to verdict court and jury trials. He has completed numerous arbitration hearings. In 1994, Mr. Jung founded Jung & Yuen LLP, which specializes in general business and all aspects of civil litigation, banking and real estate.

Mr. Jung is the Past President of the Southern California Chinese Lawyer's Association, one of the largest progressive minority bar organizations in the State. He has served on the Executive Advisory Board of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, the Public Appointments Chair for the Asian Bar of California, the Executive Planning Committee for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and a Director on its Foundation. He formerly served as the General Counsel for the Korean American Grocer's Association handling all corporate and legal affairs in 1990 and 1991. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and several community, political and civic organizations. Mr. Jung has received numerous honors, including the Recipient of the 1997 Business Member of the Year by the Asian Business League of Southern California, which consists of over 1000 members, and currently serves as its President and Chairman on its Board of Directors. Since 1999 to the present, he has been appointed to serve on the Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe's Asian International Business Advisory Group. He also was appointed to serve on the Community Service Advisory Board for the Los Angeles County Assessor Rick Auerbach. In late 2001, Los Angeles City Mayor James K. Hahn appointed Mr. Jung to the City's International Trade Subcommittee for Los Angeles' Economic Development Offices. In 2003, Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe appointed Mrs. Jung to the Board of Trustees and Governors for the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History.

Before practicing law, Mr. Jung was active in the political and community arenas. He has worked for the U.S. House of Representatives both in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. Presently, he remains active in Southern California's politics and California's Asian Business Communities. In 1999, Mr. Jung founded Yume Dream Productions LLC, an entertainment production company that is producing the new TV show "Aloha from LA" being aired throughout the state of Hawaii on the national network ABC. In 2002, Mr. Jung joined the Board of Directors of TADASHI, internationally renown fashion designer and manufacturer, and serves as General Counsel overseeing general operations.
